E-Safety
To ensure the safety of our children online, we teach children to be digitally literate. This means teaching them:
- Technical literacy - Learning the technical skills needed to use computers and devices.
- Media literacy - Learning about how to use different digital platforms and how to judge the reliability of information online.
- Social literacy - Learning about online etiquette and how to use the Internet safely.
We know that parents are concerned about children’s safety online, but it can be hard to monitor their Internet use all the time, and all the apps, games and sites can be very overwhelming. Below are links to information and organisations that can help you and your children to use the Internet safely.
