Cricket Workshop with Middlesex Cricket
It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm and energy throughout the workshop.
During this term, we were offered an opportunity for Middlesex Cricket, Chance to Shine to run a cricket workshop for 5 weeks at our school for our Year 3 and 4 pupils.
One of our Team of the Week winners from Key Stage 2, Year 6 Phoenix, were lucky to receive a one-off cricket session for demonstrating our PE Tetherdown values in their PE lessons.
The children have been engaged in sessions with a Middlesex Cricket coach. The sessions were designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of cricket in a fun and engaging way, focusing on skills such as batting, bowling and fielding.
It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm and energy throughout the workshop.
We look forward to seeing our young Tetherdown cricketers continue to develop their skills and even represent Tetherdown at future tournaments and competitions!
