Years 2 & 3 St James Visit

The children enjoyed an exciting Easter egg hunt inside the church.
Years 2 and 3 had a fantastic afternoon during their visit to St. James Church. The children enjoyed an exciting Easter egg hunt inside the church, where each egg represented a part of the Easter story. As they discovered the eggs, they worked together to piece the story in the correct order, reflecting on how the events of Easter unfolded.
Following the hunt, the children learnt more about Good Friday and its significance to Christians. They explored why each day of the Easter period is important, gaining a deeper understanding of this special time. To bring their learning to life, they even took part in a fun and engaging role-playing activity.
Thank you to St. James for a lovely and educational afternoon.
