Year 1 Joint Assembly - Room on a Broom
The children also made their own hand warmers for Bertha the witch to use as she flies through the sky.
Year 1 have been working very hard on their topic, Room on a Broom. As part of their amazing work, they have rewritten the story, made a recipe for and designed their own Superbroom and thought about what they would do if they had a magic wand. They also made their own handwarmers for Bertha the witch to use as she flies through the sky.
Year 1 had the chance to present all their hard work in a special exhibition. The children performed the song Witch’s Brew for the adults in attendance and presented all their fantastic work. They spoke confidently about what they had made and answered lots of questions.
We are so proud of year 1’s fantastic effort and dedication!
