Receptions Trip to Highgate Woods ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

This term, Reception had an adventure at Highgate Woods! We spent the morning exploring the natural world around us, going on an autumn scavenger hunt. The children were tasked with finding the perfect leaves to bring back to school and enjoyed playing in the playground. Back at school, we gathered together to read the story, Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert Using the leaves we collected, the children created their own leaf pictures. They crafted animals and people, turning their autumn finds into beautiful artwork. It was a fantastic way to connect nature with our learning and spark their imaginations.
