The Christmas Experience St James’ Church

Year Reception, 1 and 2 really enjoyed their tour through the Nativity story. The children met Dr Clever who ‘transported’ them in his time machine to see the events of the very first Christmas, long ago. They met Joseph in his carpentry workshop where he shared his response to the angel’s message that Mary is expecting a baby sent from God. They met the shepherd out in the fields who spoke about how they heard the news of Jesus’ birth. Following that, they visited the Wise Men and Herod in the palace and heard about the star that led them to Bethlehem.
