Year 5 Ancient Benin Day

Year 5 had a fantastic time during our special Ancient Benin Day! The highlight of the day was a visit from Grace, who works at the British Museum, sharing fascinating stories about how Benin City came to be. The children listened eagerly, learning all about the history of this great West African kingdom. The day was packed with interactive activities, including making trade items and engaging in producing a magnificent collaborative art project.  The students also brought history to life by acting out stories in drama sessions. What an enriching and fun day for all.
