Tetherdown School’s Annual Family Picnic: A Day of Fun, Friendship, and Fantastic Juggling

Tetherdown School's Annual Family Picnic was a smashing success!

Once again, Tetherdown School's Annual Family Picnic was a smashing success, held on the Fortis Green Reservoir. This cherished tradition brings together children, parents, and teachers for a day filled with laughter, bonding, and plenty of delicious picnic treats.

The event's main goal is to foster that warm, community spirit we all treasure at Tetherdown. It’s a chance for parents to make new friends, for children to mingle with peers from different year groups, and for teachers to introduce themselves to the parent community outside the classroom, proving they’re as human as the rest of us.

This year, we were thrilled to have Sam the Juggler join the fun. Sam dazzled everyone with his incredible skills, keeping the children (and a few curious adults) entertained with his gravity-defying tricks.

The Annual Family Picnic is more than just a day out; it's a vital part of what makes Tetherdown School such a special place. Seeing everyone come together—laughing, sharing stories, and watching the children play—reminds us why we’re so proud of our school community. Here's to many more school events filled with joy and friendship.
