Year 5 Geography Adventure to Walton-on-the-Naze!
The children had a fantastic time splashing in the water, building sandcastles and sharing moments of joy.
Y5 were blessed with perfect weather as the children embarked on a memorable field trip to Walton-on-the-Naze. They had a blast climbing the iconic Naze Tower, where they were treated to stunning panoramic views of the coastline and surrounding scenery.
At the tower, the children deepened their understanding of its historical importance and the effects of coastal erosion. Then on the beach, the children took pleasure in searching for fossils and identifying different sea defences. Naturally, no visit to Walton-on-the-Naze would be complete without a dip in the refreshing North Sea. The students had a fantastic time splashing in the water, building sandcastles and sharing moments of joy.
A big thank you to the parent helpers who accompanied the students, ensuring their safety and guiding them through the various activities. The trip turned out to be a grand success filled with many unforgettable memories.
