Network Rail Bridge Project
This project was a great success, and the children and adults thoroughly enjoyed the morning.
As part of our STEAM focus this year, Juliet Natali, our parent Governor, came in to talk to school all about her work at Network Rail. A bridge engineer also spoke to us about the different types of bridges, such as Beam and Arch bridges, as well as moving bridges such as Folding and Bascule bridges. The whole school then had a go at making their own using a range of materials. It was a great success, and the children and adults thoroughly enjoyed the morning. We would like to thank Juliet Natali and her team and especially the parent volunteers who came in to help.
