Year 4 Brazil and Rainforests

Just before half-term, Ms Pombo came in to talk about Brazil where she grew up. We learnt about Brazil’s heritage and more about Rio, which helped us gain a greater insight into what Brazil is like (our geography focus)! The presentation was fascinating and was topped off with an engaging quiz by Antonio!

Year 4 Jaguars Rainforest Assembly

Year 4s topic on rainforests culminated in a wonderful performance which included catchy songs, body percussion sound effects for a tropical thunderstorm and colourful costumes. It was adored by all and most importantly, it got the whole school thinking about how they can help ensure these essential habitats can be preserved and cherished for generations to come.
