Summer Concert and Art Show
All the children did Mrs Moir and Ms Williams-Matias proud! A real treat for the ears!
Our wonderful choirs kick-started our Summer Arts Exhibition this year with the songs Let’s Go Fly a Kite, and Go The Distance. Some members of the Junior choir had worked hard to learn an impressive harmony to Go the Distance. All the children did Mrs Moir and Ms Williams proud! Every year group then a sang song they had learnt as part of their music lessons over the course of the year. It was a fabulous spectacle of all the progress Tetherdown children have made in their musical learning this year. A real treat for the ears!
Art Show
It was a real pleasure to see so many Tetherdown adults at our summer exhibition on Friday 23rd June and a great opportunity to show off all our 3D artwork from this Year’s art week. Children treated us to some 2D research work and designs, looking at a wide range of artists, from classic artists such Alberto Giacometti to more modern sculptors such as Dale Chihuly – using the skills, techniques and media of their focus artist to create works of their own. They were fantastic!
