Celebrating NSPCC Speak Out Stay Safe Assemblies and Workshops
Tetherdown hosts NSPCC Speak Out Stay Safe assemblies and workshops
This January, our school had the privilege of hosting the NSPCC Speak Out Stay Safe assemblies and workshops, which focused on empowering our children to recognise when something isn’t right and how to speak out. The sessions were informative, engaging, and extremely helpful in building the children's confidence around important topics such as personal safety and well-being.
Both the assemblies and workshops were designed to make sure every child knows who they can turn to if they ever feel worried or unsafe. One key takeaway from the sessions was how to contact Childline for help, should they ever need to talk to someone.
We are delighted to share that our school has earned a Participation Certificate for taking part in these valuable sessions, and it is proudly displayed around the school as a reminder of our commitment to keeping children safe. We hope these workshops have left a lasting impact and that all our children feel empowered to speak out and stay safe in the future.
