Team Tetherdown at the Indoor Sportshall Competition

The Year 6 pupils showcased their incredible talent and determination at the recent Indoor Athletics competition at St Thomas More School on Thursday 16th January 2025.
All students had the chance to represent the school in at least one event at the Sportshall competition. The events covered a wide range of skills, from field events like the vertical jump to track events such as the 6-lap paarlauf.
Our pupils demonstrated fantastic teamwork and determination, constantly encouraging each other and showing great perseverance at every event. It was a pleasure to watch them compete with such enthusiasm, representing both themselves and the school with positivity and hard work. Their impressive team spirit shone throughout the competition—well done to everyone who took part; you made us all very proud!
The field events included chest push, speed bounce, standing long jump, and triple jump, while the track events featured the 6-lap paarlauf and various relays.
