The highlight of the afternoon was witnessing the unwavering spirit, confidence and determination demonstrated by all our pupils.
On Thursday 18th January 2024, a group of our Year 6 students really showcased not only their incredible athleticism but their dedication to their event, teamwork and competitive enthusiasm.
Our Tetherdown athletes competed in various track and field events, displaying their confidence and skills in sprints, throws, jumps and a range of relay races. All events were exciting with a total of nine schools competing in the Haringey Indoor Sportshall Athletics Competition.
The highlight of the afternoon was witnessing the unwavering spirit, confidence and determination demonstrated by all our pupils; cheering each other on and fostering a sense of unity amongst the team; reflecting the values we hold dear at our school.
I would like to congratulate each pupil who represented our school and for contributing to our first memorable athletics competition, overall coming 5th place!
This event not only promotes physical fitness and confidence but also instils essential life skills that will undoubtedly benefit our pupils in their future accomplishments in athletics.
