Unforgettable Y5 Geography Field Trip to Walton-on-the-Naze!
Walton-on-the-Naze was a grand success, filled with many unforgettable memories.
Despite a minor setback (our coach breaking down), the trip turned out to be a grand success, filled with many unforgettable memories.
The children enjoyed scaling the iconic Naze Tower, which offered breathtaking panoramic views of the coastline and surrounding landscapes. At the tower, they had the opportunity to reinforced their learning about the historical significance of the tower and the impact of coastal erosion. The children also enjoyed building sea defences and fossil hunting on the beach. Of course, a trip to Walton-on-the-Naze would not be complete without experiencing the refreshing waters of the North Sea. Our students enjoyed splashing around, building sandcastles and laughing together.
A big thank you to the parent helpers who accompanied the students on this trip, ensuring their safety and guiding them through the various activities.
