Year 5 Investigates Air Resistance

This half-term, Year 5’s Science topic is forces. Each week the children plan their own investigation to find out about a specific force. This week we were investigating air resistance. The children were asked to design different parachutes so that we could see if its size would affect how quickly it fell to the ground. The children thoroughly enjoyed this experiment, particularly when they got to launch their parachutes out of the window!
